Farid Hassan in JUST :

Dr. Feroz, a professor at the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of Jashore University of Science and Technology and the Joint General Secretary of the Bangladesh Physiotherapy Association (BPA), has received the highest recognition of "World Physiotherapy" for his exceptional contribution in the field of education at the World Physiotherapy Congress 2023. Every three years, recognition is given for contributions in physiotherapy education, treatment, and research in various parts of the world. This year, the organization has honored Dr. Valerie Taylor, the founder of the Center for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP) and a British Bangladeshi physiotherapist, for her outstanding  contributions to the field of healthcare.

Bangladesh received this type of global award for the first time and simultaneously received two honors at once.

When asked about his feelings, Dr. Feroz Kabir said, "I am honored to compete with nominated candidates from 129 countries in the congress and receive the award in the Education category, while Dr. Valerie Taylor, the founder of CRP, has received the award in the Humanity category. The Bangladesh Physiotherapy Association (BPA) is working for the physiotherapists, students, and the general population in Bangladesh. I hope that physiotherapy education will start in all universities in Bangladesh one day, and the profession of physiotherapy will advance. I want to work for the people, work for the profession. Proud to be a Bangladeshi, proud to be a physiotherapist."

Recently, the "World Physiotherapy Congress 2023" was held at the World Trade Center in Dubai.
